The joy of giving

The first time I experienced and understood 'the joy of giving' was a few years back. I am not able to recollect the exact year when it happened but it was a very trivial gesture of sharing my food at a local eatery with a small child who was begging for alms. I realised that day the fact that the biggest earning one can earn is the satisfaction of having shared your privileges with the under privileged. The look on the face of the child on receiving the puff that was given was what we all the time strive to acheive.
