Rtn. Shankarlal Heda recieved his Major Donor pin at the hands of TRF Trustee Rtn. Carolyn Jones at a function held at Panaji on 6th February 2009.

He is the 2nd Major Donor from our Club after Rtn. Atul Jadhav (2001-02)

A Team of Volunteers from district 2100 arrived led by PDG Alfredo was hosted by our Club members when they visited our District.

Our Club is the International sponsor partner for a MG project in napoli for Training of Bling people.

The incoming GSE Team from District 7260 at the 2nd NID on 1st fenruary 2009.

The Team leader Rtn. Gwenne Ramage and her team spent the day adminstering polio drops to children and also visiting some of the Government run booths in the town.

GSE Team from District 7260, Long Island, New York USA led by AG Rtn. Gwenn Ramage was hosted by memebrs of the Club.

The Team visited the project sites of the Club as well as made a presentation in the Club regular meeting.

The Rebublic Day of India was celebrated by the club at our adopted Govt. High School,Vasco.

The Club distributed SSCE preparatory Journals for Xth class students of the school spending more than Rs. 16,000/-. Rtn. Ashwin Vora contributed Rs. 5000/- for this noble project.

The Club Charter presented on 5 January 2009 by DG Rtn. Pranesh Jahagirdar to Charter President Dinesh Heda and his team of 20 Rotarians.

Our Club President Rtn. Tejendra and GSR for new Club Rtn. Santosh were joined by many more members of the Club on the occassion.

On 21st December 2009, the club manned the Polio immunisation booth at Tilak Maidan.

About 300 children were given the polio drops at the booth.

The 42nd Charter Nite of the Club was celebrated at Coconut Creek, Bogmolo on 12th December 2009.

Rtn. Ume Sarmalkar cut the BIRTHDAY cake with Sri. Nana Bandekar (Charter member) as special invitee. Rtn. Raosaheb Gondil was the Governor's representative for the fun filled nite.

Our Club is the International Partner for Rotary Club of Napoli, District 2100 for a training programme to provide trainers and a PC equipped with a special software that allows to read all what is present on the monitor including texts, command or picture description for 15 blind men and women in Naples, Italy.

The Project shows our willingness to partner for projects outside our community and use our resources to do humanitarian work Internationally.

The AGM of our Club was held on 28th November 2008.

Rtn. Servulo Barros the President-elect announced his key members of the board.

Rtn. Sanjay Satrdekar was elected as the President Nominee for 2010-11.
